Archidamus II Nero di Troia is for those who like powerful wines, with great body. The grapes come from the southern part of Italy, namely Apulia.

The grape variety used to be very widespread, but was "forgotten" by the outside world and stood for years in the shadow of other Italian grape varieties.

In the past few years, however, Nero di Troia has made a new foray into the international wine scene. The vine from which the grapes come has an average age of just over 25 years and has a powerful character and a firm structure.

The wine has a deep dark color, and in the nose and taste you find ripe red and black berries as well as notes of herbs, anise, coffee and vanilla. The wine is extremely suitable for red steaks, stews, sausages and various hard cheeses.
